How to Assign a Build to Your Merchants’ TPNs

This document explains how to assign a POS build version to a Merchant’s Terminal Profile Number (TPN) from the iPOSpays Portal. Assigning a build allows the selected device to receive the specified software version during the next update.

Prerequisites

• The merchant and TPN must already exist.

• The required build version must be available under the ISO account for assignment.

Method 1: Assign a Build Through Merchants

Step 1: Navigate to Merchants

• Click Merchants from the left navigation menu.

• Use the search box to locate the required merchant using:

  • DBA Name

  • Phone Number

  • Email Address

• Select the required Merchant.

Step 2: Select the Required TPN

• Under the Devices section, select the required TPN.

• Click the TPN.

• Click Assign Build.

The system navigates to the S.T.E.A.M. Edit Parameters page.

Step 3: Assign the Build

• Under the Assign Build section, click the Build drop-down.

• Select the required Build Number.

• Click Assign Build.

Step 4: Verify the Assignment

A confirmation message is displayed indicating that the build has been successfully assigned to the selected TPN.

Method 2: Assign a Build Directly Through S.T.E.A.M.

Step 1: Navigate to S.T.E.A.M.

• Click S.T.E.A.M. from the left navigation menu.

• Use the search box to locate the required TPN.

• Select the required TPN.

The system navigates to the S.T.E.A.M. Edit Parameters page.

Step 2: Assign the Build

• Under the Assign Build section, click the Build drop-down.

• Select the required Build Number.

• Click Assign Build.

Step 3: Verify the Assignment

A confirmation message is displayed indicating that the build has been successfully assigned to the selected TPN.

Result

The selected build is successfully assigned to the Merchant’s TPN. The assigned build will be downloaded to the terminal during its next synchronization or update.
