How to Download a TPN on the Payment Terminal

This document outlines the steps to download a TPN (Terminal Profile Number) on a payment terminal, install the required application, and apply the necessary configuration parameters.

Supported Transaction Types

The following transaction types are supported on the Dejavoo payment terminal:

  • Sale

  • Refund

  • Pre-Authorization

  • Ticket

  • Void

  • Tip

  • Batch Settlement

  • Cash Transactions

Steps to Download a TPN

Step 1: Open the App Menu on the Terminal

  • Power on the terminal

  • From the Apps screen, select DvPayLite

Step 2: Launch the Upgrade App Screen

  • After opening DvPayLite, it will show the UPGRADE APP screen

Step 3: Enter the TPN

  • Tap the TPN # field

  • Enter the assigned TPN number using the on-screen keypad

Step 4: Download the Application

  • Tap Download App
  • If prompted, enter the One-Time Passcode located on the iPOSpays Portal → S.T.E.A.M → Edit Parameter

  • The terminal begins downloading the APK file

  • A progress pop-up appears showing the download percentage

Step 5: Wait for Installation to Complete

  • After the download completes, the terminal automatically starts installing the app

  • A message appears: “Installing, please wait…”

Step 6: Accept Configuration Changes (If Prompted)

  • A confirmation pop-up may appear asking to update the terminal configuration (e.g., Time Zone change)

  • Review the message

  • Tap Yes to accept the changes

Step 7: Access the Sales Screen

  • Once installation and configuration are complete, the terminal navigates to the SALE screen

How to Download Parameters or Change a TPN on the Terminal

Step 8: Download Updated Parameters for a TPN

If you have made any changes in the iPOSpays Portal (for example: Tips, Taxes, or other settings) and want those changes to apply to this terminal:

  • On the UPGRADE APP screen, verify the correct TPN is displayed in the TPN # field

  • Tap Download Parameter

  • The terminal begins parameter initialization

  • A success confirmation message appears: “Parameter initialization completed successfully.”

  • Tap OK to complete the process

The updated parameters are now applied to the terminal for this TPN.

Step 9: Edit or Replace an Existing TPN

If you want to download a different TPN on the terminal:

  • On the UPGRADE APP screen, long-press the TPN # field and select Cut to delete the existing TPN.

  • Enter the new TPN using the on-screen keypad.

  • Click Download App

If prompted, enter the One-Time Passcode located on the iPOSpays Portal → S.T.E.A.M → Edit Parameter

The terminal then proceeds with the application download and installation, following the Steps 4 through 7 described above.
